- This is the "lite" version of MOWU III. Only difference from the full
- version: doesn't allow conversion of worlds to playable format.
-
- Version: 3.01
-
- Changes from previous version:
- - Removal of several small bugs, e.g. initial hole location created by
- pressing F2 was to upper left of caret in Version 3.0
- - More descriptive names for built-in sceneries and sounds.
-
- Installation:
- Run MSETUP.EXE. The setup file lets you choose the program group
- and install directory; default program group is same as ScaryFish III.
-
- Run MOWU3.EXE to start the program.
-
- 16-bit or higher color is strongly recommended if you paste bitmaps
- from the Clipboard into the program's graphic editor. In 256 color
- mode you're less likely to see what the graphic will look like in the
- game. If you run in 256-color mode and paste a bitmap with a different
- palette than the game's, the resulting image colors might look like
- trash! However, if you use a paint program with the game's 256-color
- palette and copy a bitmap from that program, pasting into the MOWU,
- the colors should convert perfectly.
-
- Terrain sets don't always update automatically in the terrain set
- view. When editing an outside world area, you can always view the
- correct terrain set by entering a terrain with <Enter> or the right
- mouse button (when right mouse button is configured for that action).
- Better yet, select World->Terrain Data->Terrain Sets and pick the
- proper terrain set for the area. If it doesn't update immediately
- on the screen, uncheck View->Terrain Set and check it back to redraw,
- or drag another window over the terrain set.
-
- If you're testing a hole or rapid detail area and it's not using the
- correct terrain set, select World->Terrain Data->Terrain Sets and
- choose the proper terrain set.

- can contain instances and modifications of the game's base terrains
- and terrain graphics.
